GPS IGNITE is an organization-wide innovation program for GPS Renewables employees, running 21 July – 10 September 2026 across three stages. Phase 1 focuses on problem discovery and ideation — finding the operational challenges and opportunities hiding in plain sight across every department, and pairing them with the people who can help solve them.
You don't need to be technical to take part. If you understand a business problem, that's enough to start. Technical solutions come later, through collaboration with colleagues from other functions.
Surface real business challenges from every corner of the organization.
Connect across departments to combine domain knowledge with technical skill.
Develop a structured, well-argued solution proposal — no prototype required yet.
Use these as a lens for your submission — or bring something entirely your own.
Streamlining operational workflows and cutting manual effort.
Ideas that strengthen our bioenergy and environmental impact.
Practical applications of AI, automation, or no-code tools.
Better experiences for customers, partners, and field teams.
Reducing risk and strengthening how we meet regulatory needs.
21 July – 10 September 2026 · Phase 1 · Evaluation · Phase 2
Submit business challenges, pain points, or ideas through the portal.
Published problems go live. Browse, connect, form teams of 1–5, and develop proposals.
The panel scores proposals against the weighted criteria and announces the shortlist.
Shortlisted teams build prototypes, PoCs, or business cases with CSL mentors.
Teams demo to the panel and leadership. Final judging and program-wide awards.
The bigger picture
Every problem you submit is the first step of a full development lifecycle — from ideation through build and testing, out to deployment at site. GPS IGNITE opens that journey to every employee.
Four criteria, weighted to add up to a complete picture of every proposal.
Awards are presented at the close of Phase 2 — different strengths are recognized, with no single overall winner.
The solution with the highest potential value to GPS Renewables.
The most creative, original solution to a business challenge.
The most effective, practical application of AI or automation.
Awards are decided at the Grand Finale after Phase 2, based on the built solutions — independent of which teams progressed.

Step 1 of 5 · Problem Discovery
Tell us about a real business challenge, pain point, or opportunity. You don't need a solution yet — just a clear picture of the problem.
Your problem statement has been successfully submitted.
Once the submission window closes, all entries will be reviewed by the evaluation panel. If your problem statement is shortlisted, it will be published during the Team Formation & Collaboration stage, where employees can express interest in contributing towards solving the challenge.
Keep an eye on this portal for updates on the next stage of the GPS Hackathon.
